The Christian Seniors Association was founded in 2003 by Rev. Louis P. Sheldon as a project of the Traditional Values Coalition. CSA is the religious conservative alternative to the ultraliberal AARP. Initially, its focus was opposing Congressional misuse of funds contributed by working Americans to the Social Security Trust Fund but it has now expanded its range of issues beyond Social Security to Obamacare, the federal government’s role in violating the free exercise of religion, the jihadist threat in America and excessive regulation of Americans and American business.

"As conservative Christians, we have a responsibility to be active citizens and to remind America that Big Government, out-of-control debt, the growing influence of shariah and other developments are not just bad policy – they are immoral,” said CSA Executive Director James Lafferty recently.

"Our members care about the solvency of Social Security and Medicare but we also care about the America we are leaving to our children and grandchildren.  Particularly under this administration, we see threats to America’s future gathering and growing with every day.”

CSA is a very active and aggressive voice in the Congress and in public squares and media across America.  It also conducts briefings on issues of interest to its members and provides discounted benefit and insurance options for its members.
